Intimate Wedding at GreenBriar Inn

The Greenbriar Inn is an elegant venue that features a restaurant tavern and a separate outdoor location for wedding ceremonies. The spot is a bit of a walk from the restaurant but fortunately there’s a separate parking lot for it. The outdoor space is huge as it's 20 acres of ground that features two ponds, woodlands with mountain views and plenty of shade. The space where I photographed Cheyenne and Jack’s ceremony was small but the perfect size for 50 guests. I recommend an early afternoon start for ceremonies for September weddings. We had a late afternoon ceremony and the light was a bit harsh on the couple and some of their guests. However, the mountain views are gorgeous. It sets right near the foothills in Boulder.

The dinner service was held at the back of the restaurant in a separate room. There’s large windows but we closed the blinds when the sun became too intense. The bar tenders were very kind, and gave excellent drink service to the guests. In fact, the service may have been too good as I witnessed a ton of empty shot glasses. It was one of the wildest celebrations I’ve ever photographed. The dancing was held on the patio and it was just the right size to fit everyone on it. It stayed full throughout the rest of the night.
